About TreadSheet

TreadSheet is a free reference for tire sizes and wheel fitment: calculators that do the math, and factory specs for each vehicle we cover.

Where the data comes from

• Factory tire and wheel sizes are compiled by hand from manufacturer sources (press kits, spec sheets, owner's manuals) and cross-checked against major tire retailers. Every vehicle page lists its sources.
• Recalls and crash-test ratings come from the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
• Fuel economy comes from the US EPA via fueleconomy.gov.
• Calculator results use the standard nominal dimensions encoded in the size. Real tires vary slightly by brand and model.
